DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

The Department of Computer Science was founded in 2000. And since 2000 the Department of Computer Science prepares bachelors, specialists and masters in the field of "Software Engineering" in specialties "Software Systems" and "Software Engineering", that are transformed into the specialty "Software Engineering" (bachelor, master) since 2016 according to the new Classifier of Specialties.

From year to year the department is actively developed through the productive work of its staff. Teachers of the department constantly study new teaching methods to give students better understanding of educational practical material, and also make a great work in the research area. Teachers share with students knowledge as well as teach them how to live decent.

Now the staffing potential of the department is mostly formed. Since 2003 there is a postgraduate program for two specialties under the direction of M.P. Dyvak: 01.05.02 - mathematical modeling and computational methods (technical sciences); 08.00.11 - mathematical methods, models and information technologies in the economy, which provides the possibility of constant training of specialists in the field of "Software Engineering".
